AI Workshops in Malaysia: Half-Day, 1-Day and 2-Day Formats

The right workshop depends on who is in the room and what they should be able to do afterwards. Here are the formats we run, from a board briefing to a two-day build, and how to choose between them.

How to choose a format

Start from the outcome, not the length. If the people in the room decide budgets, they need to see what AI can and cannot do on their own business, and a one-day AI awareness workshop is the right size. Boards with limited time take the half-day briefing.

If the people in the room will do the work, a short workshop is rarely enough. They need time to build something, break it and fix it with a trainer beside them. That is why our flagship programmes are two-day, hands-on courses.

Most companies end up doing both, in that order: leaders first, so the teams that follow have a mandate and approved tools. Our corporate AI training page shows how that runs in-house.

What makes an AI workshop worth the time

  • Your tools, not ours. A demo on a platform your company does not license is entertainment. We run each workshop on Microsoft, Google, Lark, OpenAI or Claude, whichever you use.
  • Your examples. Exercises built around your own processes land faster than generic case studies. For in-house classes we localise them to your industry.
  • A next step. A workshop should end with a few tasks to try the following week. Without that, enthusiasm fades by Friday.

Public or private?

Private workshops run at your office for your people only, and are the usual choice for leadership sessions. Public classes run in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley on the dates in our training schedule. Both are HRDC claimable under SBL-KHAS; HRD Corp was previously called HRDF.
