AI Certification in Malaysia: Certificates, Exams and How to Prepare
"AI certification" covers two different things: a certificate that proves you completed a course, and a vendor exam that tests what you know. Here is how they differ, which one employers look for, and how to get each in Malaysia.

Certificate or certification? They are not the same
A certificate of completion says you attended a course and did the work. It is issued by the training provider. A certification is an exam set by a technology vendor or professional body. You pass or fail, and anyone can check the result.
Employers read them differently. A completion certificate plus something you built is good evidence that you can use AI on real work. A vendor certification is a recognised benchmark of knowledge, useful when you are job-hunting or when a client asks for proof.
Certificates from AITraining2U courses
Every hands-on course in our AI course catalogue includes a Certificate of Completion, among them n8n automation, Claude orchestration, Copilot 365, Gemini, AI analytics and AI engineering. Each certificate carries a serial number printed at the bottom. An employer or client can enter it on our certificate verification page to confirm we issued it.
The courses are HRDC claimable under SBL-KHAS, so most employers fund them from their HRD Corp levy. HRD Corp was previously called HRDF.
Vendor certification exams
Anthropic (Claude). Anthropic offers four Claude certifications: Claude Certified Associate Foundations (CCAO-F), Developer Foundations (CCDV-F), Architect Foundations (CCAR-F) and Architect Professional (CCAR-P). All four run for 120 minutes and pass at a scaled score of 720 out of 1,000. Our Claude certification guide covers cost, format and which to take first.
For CCAR-F we publish free preparation: a 54-lesson study guide and a practice exam bank with timed mock exams, with no sign-up. There is also a structured CCAR-F exam prep course.
Microsoft and Google. If you need an official Microsoft or Google certification exam, go through the vendor or one of its authorised training partners. We are not an exam centre. Our Copilot and Gemini courses teach the day-to-day skills those platforms need, and finish with our own certificate.
Which should you get?
- You want to use AI better in your current job: a hands-on course and its completion certificate. Your manager cares more about the workflow you built than the badge.
- You are moving into an AI or technical role: a vendor exam such as CCAR-F, backed by projects you can show. Our AI engineering programme builds those projects in three days.
- You are training a team: completion certificates for everyone, with vendor exams for the two or three people who will own the platform internally.
