Become a Certified AI Trainer
Through Our AI Train the Trainers Program
Built for HRDC-registered trainers, HR & L&D professionals, consultants, and internal AI champions who want to stop outsourcing AI upskilling and start delivering it themselves. Leave certified, equipped with a ready-to-teach curriculum, and confident running the room.
Cohort Dates
Certification cohorts are arranged per intake — corporate in-house or small open cohorts by request.
AI Train the Trainers
Dates Arranged Per Cohort
This is a certification pathway, not a fixed public class. We schedule cohorts around your organization's calendar, or group together a small open cohort once enough interest registers.
Certify Your Own Trainers In-House
Have HR/L&D staff or internal champions you want certified as AI trainers?
We run this as a private cohort for your organization, sized to your group. Fully HRDC claimable.
What You'll Leave Ready to Deliver
This is not a certificate for attending. You leave with the actual materials and skills needed to run your first AI training session.
Ready-to-Teach AI Fundamentals Module
A complete, sequenced module on AI basics you can deliver to your own team within a week of certifying.
A Recorded Co-Facilitated Session
Footage of your live teach-back segment with faculty, useful for your own portfolio or LinkedIn.
Personal AI Trainer Positioning
A one-page trainer profile and portfolio outline for pitching internal stakeholders or external clients.
Sample HRDC-Compliant Course Outline
A course outline template mapped to HRD Corp submission requirements you can adapt for future proposals.
A Reusable Set of AI Training Labs
A set of hands-on exercises you can run again and again with different cohorts and skill levels.
Your Facilitation Script
Word-for-word opening, transitions and closing scripts for the first module you deliver.
An Assessment & Certification Rubric
The same rubric criteria we use to certify you, so you can assess your own trainees or team members later.
Certification Curriculum
A structured pathway from AI fundamentals to a live, assessed teach-back — the same rigor we bring to every HRDC-claimable program.
Phase 1: AI Fundamentals for Trainers
What to teach, the misconceptions to correct, and the tool landscape your trainees will ask about.
Core Theory
- What to Teach First: Demystifying LLMs, tokens and "how AI actually works" in language a non-technical room can absorb in under an hour.
- Common Misconceptions: The myths trainees repeat back to you — AI "understands", AI "is always right", AI "will replace me" — and how to correct them without losing the room.
- The Tool Landscape: A practical map of the tools your trainees will actually ask about — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, n8n — and how to discuss each without vendor bias.
- Setting Learning Outcomes: Translating "AI training" into measurable, job-relevant outcomes that a trainee's manager will actually sign off on.
Hands-On in This Phase
Practice running a 15-minute live prompting demo that survives Wi-Fi failures and skeptical questions.
Build your personal script for the five objections every AI trainer hears in the first ten minutes.
Draft the one-page "AI in plain English" handout you'll give every cohort on day one.
Practice adjusting pace and depth mid-session for a room that's half skeptics and half early adopters.
Phase 2: Facilitation & Curriculum Design
Adult learning principles, lab design, and building a course outline that meets HRDC documentation standards.
Core Theory
- Adult Learning Principles for AI Topics: Why lecture-only AI training fails, and what replaces it for a room of working professionals.
- Designing Hands-On Labs: How to design an exercise that works for participants with zero technical background, from prompt to outcome.
- HRDC Documentation Requirements: Building a course outline, learning objectives and assessment plan that meets HRD Corp submission standards.
- Slide & Handout Design: Structuring materials that hold up in a live room — pacing, visual hierarchy, and where to insert exercises.
Hands-On in This Phase
Build a sample HRDC-compliant course outline for a topic in your own area of specialty.
Design and pilot one hands-on AI exercise with a partner in the room.
Write the word-for-word opening and closing script for your first module.
Exchange materials with another participant and give structured feedback using our rubric.
Phase 3: Certification & Co-Facilitation
Live practice teach-back, faculty feedback, and becoming an AITraining2U-certified AI trainer.
Core Theory
- Live Teach-Back Standards: What AITraining2U faculty look for when assessing a live teach-back — clarity, pacing and audience handling.
- Giving & Receiving Feedback: How to coach a new trainer through their first delivery without discouraging them.
- The AITraining2U Certification Bar: What "AITraining2U-certified" actually means, and how it should read on your LinkedIn and future proposals.
- Building Your Trainer Practice: Positioning yourself internally as an in-house AI champion, or externally as an associate/freelance trainer.
Hands-On in This Phase
Deliver a 15-20 minute segment of your own module to the full cohort and faculty.
Co-facilitate a live exercise alongside an AITraining2U faculty member.
Be assessed against the rubric covering content accuracy, facilitation skill and room management.
